For the Project “Women of Influence”, we collaborated with Young Indigenous women of Ashaninka and Yanesha communities based in the Junin region of Peru.

Ancestral knowledge is the accumulation of knowledge and practices rooted in indigenous cultures, passed on orally from generation to generation.

Our approach has aimed to be as participatory as possible, acknowledging and learning about the many challenges and opportunities that this approach involves.
